I volunteered to work on this paper for BiT Group during an extended period of downtime.

The impetus for the paper was a need both internally and externally to show others that Flash is a viable option for delivering web content. The biggest objection most people have to Flash is its usability problems. The point of the paper was to discuss these problems and present solutions.

This paper is a synthesis of work done by other developers and my own thoughts. There are many usability articles concerning Flash on available, but I found most insufficient since they focused only on one area or another. Very few all-encompassing documents have been produced, so I hope that this will help the Flash community in general.
